I went to eat at Café Cartel yesterday with Serene. I practically stuff myself with food. Hahax. I had like soup, starters and main course. It was like filling. Serene still asked me if I wanted to eat Mango Pudding. I seriously will throw up if I continue eating. Hahax.
Serene came to borrow heels from my sister. My sis has this super red colour heels that is like super high. Serene tried it on and she says it feels so good to be this tall. Hahax. Short people and their fantasy to be tall. Hahax. Seriously, how do you even walk in heels that high. I cannot even walk properly in like an inch high heels la~
I was Serene’s manicurist (is there even such word) today. I painted her toe nails and help her do French Manicure. It took me like 45 mins to complete it. The best thing is that there is no standard at all. Hahax. I kept repainting her nails and my whole hands smell like nail polish remover. I did not even dare to eat with my hands. Hahax.
Later I have to go to this Cultural Night at the Kallang Theatre. Seriously I do not know what I was thinking buying the ticket. I have to be there at like 630pm. The best thing is that none of us know where Kallang Theatre is. I had to give training a miss today because of the time constraints. If I go training, I seriously do not have time to get to Kallang Theatre on time. So to make up for what I missed at training, I practice on my wristshots just now. Ermm, there is still problem with my wristshots. Shit man! I seriously have to step up my game.
I was surfing the internet just now and I chance upon this phrase. I love this phrase alot and it is sooo cool to see it again. I mean now all Adidas does is put that Stevie G face at the shop instead of this phrase.
Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it.
Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion.
Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare.
Impossible is potential.
Impossible is temporary.
IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING.
I think it is quite true. I mean all of us give excuses to make up for what we think we cannot do or are afraid to accomplish. Everybody is afraid of failure so we just give up. Sometimes, if we just give it a try, we might actually fare better than we expect. I had experience the worst feeling before and it is the feeling after you give up on something. I had experience it once or maybe twice. And every time I want to give up especially when I am running, I tell myself that I do not want that disgusting and ugly feeling in me. OMG! I am sounding like a philosopher. Hahax.
Here is one of the "Impossible is Nothing" advertisement that Adidas came up with. Listen to the words carefully. Pretty meaningful. Hope it inspires you! (:
if you are like seriously deaf or something, then here is what the video is saying:Some people listens to themselves rather than listen to what others say.
These people don't come along very often but when they do, they remind us that once you set out in a path, even though the critics may doubt you, its ok to believe that there is no
CAN'T, WON'T or IMPOSSIBLE.
They remind us that its ok to believe IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING.
